Sugar Ridge is a small community in Ohio, United States. It's not a city or town with its own government, but it's a recognized place. You can find it in Wood County, Ohio. It's located near a main road called Ohio State Route 25, just north of a bigger town called Bowling Green. It's also close to a major highway, Interstate 75.
A Look Back in Time
Sugar Ridge has been around for a while! It was officially planned out and marked on a map in 1882. This is called being platted. A year later, in 1883, a post office opened in Sugar Ridge. People could send and receive letters and packages right there. The post office served the community for many years, finally closing its doors in 1954.
