Sui Ishida (石田 スイ, Ishida Sui), born on December 28, 1986, is a talented manga artist from Japan. He is widely recognized for creating the popular dark fantasy manga series Tokyo Ghoul and Choujin X.

The Creative Journey of Sui Ishida
Sui Ishida is most famous for his exciting dark fantasy series, Tokyo Ghoul. This story is about a young man named Ken Kaneki. He becomes a ghoul (a creature that looks human but needs to eat human flesh to survive) after a surprising encounter.
The World of Tokyo Ghoul
- The Tokyo Ghoul manga was published from 2011 to 2014 in a magazine called Weekly Young Jump.
- It became so popular that it was turned into a light novel series and an anime TV show in 2014.
- The manga was also translated into English. It even reached the top of The New York Times Best Seller list in 2015!
- A short prequel story, Tokyo Ghoul [Jack], was released online in 2013.
- In 2014, Ishida started a sequel series called Tokyo Ghoul:re.

- In 2016, Sui Ishida worked on a special project. He created a 69-page storyboard (like a comic book draft) for a manga chapter. This chapter was based on Yoshihiro Togashi's famous Hunter × Hunter series.
- His storyboard showed the past of a character named Hisoka. It was released digitally on Shonen Jump+ on June 2, 2016.
- More recently, on May 10, 2021, Ishida began a new manga series called Choujin X. This series is published on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website.
