Sun Cellular started its operations in 2003. It was one of the newer companies to join the mobile phone market. Being a "latecomer" helped them build their network at a lower cost. Sun Cellular uses special access codes like 922, 923, 932, and 933 for its phone numbers.
Sun Cellular became very popular because of its "24/7" offers. These deals gave customers unlimited text messages and calls to other Sun Cellular users for a set price.
