Sun Valley is a small community in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It is known as a census-designated place, which means it's a special area defined for gathering population data.
This community is located in the northwest part of Chestnuthill Township. You can find it on the west side of Route 115. It sits near the southern side of Pohopoco Mountain.
Natural Features
The Pohopoco Creek begins right here in Sun Valley. This creek flows south through a place called Gilbert. From there, it travels west towards Beltzville Lake. Eventually, it joins the Lehigh River.
