Susana Dosamantes (born María del Perpetuo Socorro Guadalupe Susana Rul Riestra; January 9, 1948 – July 2, 2022) was a famous Mexican actress. She was well-known for her roles in many movies and TV shows, especially Spanish-language soap operas called telenovelas.
Susana Dosamantes started her acting career in 1968. She appeared in about 50 different movies and television series during her long career. She won an important award, the TVyNovelas Award for Best Antagonist Actress, in 1990. This was for her role in the 1989 telenovela Morir para vivir. Some of her other popular works include the films Rio Lobo and Day of the Assassin, and the telenovelas Eva Luna, Tres veces Ana, and Si nos dejan.
