Susannah Jane Corbett (born on August 10, 1968) is a talented English actress and author. She started her acting career in 1991 and has appeared in many TV shows, movies, and radio programs. Besides acting, she also writes fun books for children.

Early Life and Education
Susannah Corbett was born in Marylebone, a part of London, England. Her father was the famous actor Harry H. Corbett, who was well-known for his role in the TV show Steptoe and Son. Her mother was Maureen Blott.
Susannah went to Moira House School in Eastbourne, which is in East Sussex. After school, she decided to become an actress. She trained at the East 15 Acting School in Loughton, Essex, where she learned all about acting.
Susannah's Career
Acting Roles
Susannah Corbett began her acting journey in 1991. One of her first small roles was in the adventure movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Later that year, she made her first TV appearance in an episode of the show Minder.
A big role for her came in 1993 on the TV show Peak Practice. She played a character named Vanessa Machin. However, many people know her best as Ellie Pascoe in the BBC television drama series Dalziel and Pascoe. In this show, she played the wife of one of the main characters, Peter Pascoe. She was a regular on the show from 1996 to 2000 and even came back for a special appearance in 2005.
After Dalziel and Pascoe, Susannah returned to Peak Practice to play a different character, Kerri Davidson, who was a physiotherapist. She was in this role for three series. In 2015, she also appeared in an episode of Holby City.
Becoming an Author
Susannah started writing books for her own children. Her first published book was Dragon's Dinner, which came out in 2009. She then published another children's book called One Cool Cat in 2011.
She also wrote a book about her famous father, Harry H. Corbett. This book, titled Harry H. Corbett: The Front Legs of the Cow, tells the story of his life and career. It was published in 2012.
Personal Life
Susannah Corbett lives in a cozy cottage in Ashburnham, East Sussex, with her family. She has two children.
