Suzanne Barr is a talented chef and author. She lives in Plantation, Florida. Suzanne used to own two restaurants in Toronto, Canada, where she was born. She is also the CEO of her own company, Suzanne Barr Food, Inc.

Suzanne has been featured in a movie called The Heat: A Kitchen (R)evolution. She was also a judge on the TV show Wall of Chefs.

In April 2022, Suzanne released her book. It is a memoir titled My Ackee Tree: A Chef’s Memoir of Finding Home in the Kitchen. A memoir is a book about someone's life experiences.

Suzanne owned two popular restaurants in Toronto. One was called True True Diner. It closed in 2020. Her other restaurant was Saturday Dinette. It was in the Riverdale neighborhood. This diner closed in 2017 after about three and a half years. It closed after a disagreement with the building's owner.

Growing Up and Education

Suzanne's family moved to Plantation Acres when she was four years old. She went to Nova Eisenhower Elementary and Nova Middle School in Davie. She also attended Nova High School, graduating in 1995. After high school, she continued her education in New York. She studied at the School of Visual Arts.

Suzanne is married to Johnnie Karagiannis.
