Sven Plex Petersson (born August 7, 1926 – died June 25, 2011) was a famous Swedish sports journalist. His full name was Per Sven Pettersson. He worked for Sveriges Radio (Swedish Radio) and Sveriges Television (Swedish Television). Many people in Sweden knew his voice from exciting sports broadcasts. He started working at Sveriges Radio in 1957.

Sven Petersson was born in Lit, Sweden, in 1926. His father was a manufacturer. Sven started his career in journalism early. From 1944 to 1956, he worked for a newspaper called Östersunds-Posten.
Joining Radio and TV
In 1957, Sven joined Sveriges Radio, which is Sweden's national radio company. He worked in their sports department. Two years later, in 1959, he moved to Sveriges Television. This is Sweden's national TV company. He became a well-known voice and face for sports fans.
