The Swedish Ski Association (Swedish: Svenska Skidförbundet) is a group that helps organize and manage skiing in Sweden. Think of them as the main helpers for all things skiing in the country!
They started in Sundsvall on December 11, 1908. Back then, they were called the Swedish Cross-Country Skiing Association. They changed their name in 1911 to the Swedish Ski Association. Their main office, called the headquarters, was first in Stockholm. But on May 3, 2001, it moved to Falun.
