Sybil Danning (born Sybille Johanna Danninger, May 24, 1947) is an Austrian-American former actress, model, and film producer. She is well-known for appearing in many films, especially during the 1970s and 1980s.

About Sybil Danning
Early Life and First Steps in Acting
Sybil Danning was born in Austria. As a child, she traveled a lot with her family and lived on military bases around the world. When her family returned to Austria, her parents divorced. To help her family, Sybil worked as a dental assistant.
At 16, Danning moved to Salzburg and studied cosmetology. While working as a cosmetician, she started getting offers for fashion shows and photo shoots. This was the beginning of her career in the entertainment world.
Becoming Famous in the 1980s
In 1978, Sybil Danning moved to Hollywood to further her acting career. She became known for her roles in "B movies," which are films made with smaller budgets. One of her most famous roles was in the science fiction movie Battle Beyond the Stars (1980).
During the 1980s, she appeared in several other films, including Chained Heat (1983), Hercules (1983), Malibu Express (1985), Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf (1985), and Reform School Girls (1986).
In 1990, her acting career paused when she got a back injury while practicing a stunt for a movie.
Returning to the Screen (2003–2011)
In 2003, Sybil Danning was invited to meet her fans at an event in New Jersey. She was surprised by how many fans wanted to see her act again. This led to her appearing in a documentary called UnConventional in 2004.
In 2007, Danning made a big return to movies. She appeared in a short film called Werewolf Women of the SS, directed by Rob Zombie. She also had a role in Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of the horror film Halloween.
In 2008, Danning went back to Austria to act in the drama film Jump!. She also appeared in five episodes of a vampire TV series called The Lair. In 2010, she was in the horror movie Virus X. Her last known acting role was in 2011, when she starred in and produced a music video for the American rock band, the Last Vegas.

From 2002 to 2003, Sybil Danning was a part-owner of a German ice hockey team called SC Riessersee. She was the first woman to co-own a German hockey team. She helped bring three American players to the team, and they ended up becoming Vice Champions that season.
