Sycamore was once a small community in Colusa County, California. It was also known by its older name, Loch-loch. This place was located near a waterway called Sycamore Slough. It sat about 49 feet (15 meters) above sea level.

Sycamore was an important farming community in the late 1800s. People lived and worked there. It had several important buildings that helped the community.
