Syra Yousuf (Urdu: سائرہ یوسف ) is a talented Pakistani model and actress. She used to be a Video Jockey (VJ) and now stars in Urdu TV shows and movies.

Syra Yousuf's Career Journey
Syra Yousuf started her career in 2006. Her first appearance was in a TV commercial for Cornetto ice cream. After this, she worked as a model for about a year, appearing in many different advertisements.
Becoming a VJ
In 2007, Syra became a VJ, which means Video Jockey. She hosted shows like Bheja Fry and Most Wanted on MTV Pakistan.
Acting Debut and Early Roles
Syra began her acting career in 2011. Her first TV drama was Mera Naseeb on Hum TV. She played an important character named Nazia. After that, she acted in other dramas. She played Mariam in Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Toh (2011) and Soha in Bilqees Kaur (2012). Both of these shows were very popular. People loved the stories and how well the actors performed.
Challenging Roles and Recent Work
Syra chose roles that helped her grow as an actress. She played Sarena in Tanhaiyaan Naye Silsilay (2012). She also appeared as Zoya in Coke Kahani (2012). In the drama Ru Baru (2014), she played two different characters, Shabeeh and Neelam. More recently, she impressed audiences with her strong performance as Arzoo Daniel in Sinf-e-Ahaan (2021).

Syra Yousuf has also acted in several movies. Some of her films include Chalay Thay Saath (2017) and Project Ghazi (2019). Her most recent film, Babylicious (2023), was released during Eid al-Adha in 2023. In this movie, she stars alongside her ex-husband, Shahroz Sabzwari.
Syra's Personal Life
On October 21, 2012, Syra Yousuf married Shehroz Sabzwari. They had a private wedding ceremony in Karachi. Their daughter, Nooreh, was born in 2014. In December 2019, Syra and Shahroz announced that they were separating. They officially divorced in February 2020.
