Syra Yousuf (Urdu: سائرہ یوسف ) is a well-known Pakistani model and actress. She also used to be a VJ, which means a Video Jockey. She is famous for her work in Pakistani TV shows and movies.

Syra's Journey: How She Started
Syra Yousuf began her career in 2006. Her very first job was appearing in a TV commercial for Cornetto ice cream. After that, she worked as a model for about a year. She appeared in many different advertisements during this time.
In 2007, Syra became a VJ at MTV Pakistan. A VJ is someone who hosts music shows on TV. She hosted popular shows like Bheja Fry and Most Wanted.
Becoming an Actress: TV Shows
Syra started acting in 2011. Her first acting role was in a TV drama called Mera Naseeb on Hum TV. She played a strong character named Nazia. This show was directed by Adnan Ahmed.
After her first role, she continued acting in more dramas. She played Mariam in Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Toh in 2011. In 2012, she played Soha in Bilqees Kaur. Both of these TV shows were very popular. People loved their stories and how well the actors performed.
Syra chose roles that challenged her acting skills. For example, she played Sarena in Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay in 2012. She also played Zoya in Coke Kahani that same year. In 2014, she took on a special challenge. She played two different characters, Shabeeh and Neelam, in the drama Ru Baru.
More recently, in 2021, Syra impressed audiences with her role as Arzoo Daniel in Sinf-e-Aahan. This performance was very powerful and got a lot of attention.

On October 21, 2012, Syra Yousuf married Shehroz Sabzwari. They had a private wedding ceremony in Karachi. Their daughter, Nooreh, was born in 2014. In December 2019, Syra and Shehroz announced that they were separating. They officially divorced in February 2020.
