Töreboda Municipality (Töreboda kommun) is a special area in Sweden. It is like a local government area. It is found in the western part of Sweden, in a place called Västra Götaland County. The main town, or "seat," of this municipality is Töreboda. Other important towns here are Älgarås and Moholm.
The Töreboda Municipality we know today was created in 1971. Before that, Töreboda was a market town. It joined with Moholm and parts of other areas called Undenäs and Hova to form the current municipality.
