The TSB Stadium first opened its doors in 1992. Since then, it has been a hub for many different events. These include sports games, fun cultural shows, and big community gatherings.

Many famous people and groups have performed here. Imagine seeing Jimmy Barnes in 1992 or Split Enz in 1993! Tina Turner rocked the stage in 1997. Later, Motörhead played in 2009, and The Wiggles brought joy to younger fans in 2013. More recently, Midnight Oil performed in 2022.
Home of Taranaki Basketball
The stadium is also a very important place for local sports. It has been the home court for Taranaki's basketball teams. These teams play in the New Zealand NBL. Today, they are known as the Steelformers Taranaki Airs.
