Club History
After World War II, many groups in Germany, including sports clubs, were closed. TSV Schwieberdingen was restarted in July 1946. Its new name was Sport und Kulturverein Schwieberdingen. In late 1947, it went back to its original name.
For twenty years after the war, the club focused on gymnastics and football. Football became more and more important. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the club grew a lot. They added ten new sports sections. These included table tennis, handball, volleyball, swimming, and judo.
Football Team's Journey
In the late 1970s, the club's football team moved up through different leagues. They started in the A-Klasse Enz-Murr. Then they reached the 2. Amateurliga Württemberg. After that, they made it to the Landesliga Württemberg (IV).
The team had some tough times and moved down a league. But they returned to the fourth-tier league in the mid-1990s. In 2002, they reached the round of 16 in the Württemberg Cup. This was a great achievement.
In 2004, Schwieberdingen moved up to the Verbandsliga Württemberg (V). They played there until 2007. That year, they finished second and won their promotion play-off games. This allowed them to move up to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. They stayed in this league for one season. After that, they were moved down again. The club then decided to move its team to the Bezirksliga Enz-Murr, which is an eighth-tier league. They even dropped to the Kreisliga A for one season. However, they returned to the Bezirksliga in 2014.

The club's youth teams have also done very well. They have won the Württemberg championship twice. They also won the South German championship two times. In the national youth finals, they finished third and fourth.
