What the Show is About
The story takes place in a friendly apartment building called Gokuldham Co-operative Society in Mumbai, India. It mainly follows the Gada family. This family includes Jethalal Gada, who is a successful businessman. There's also his father, Champaklal Gada, his wife Daya, and their playful son, Tipendra Gada, also known as Tapu.
Tapu is the leader of his group of friends, called "Tapu Sena." Jethalal often asks his father, Champaklal, to keep an eye on Tapu. But sometimes, Champaklal ends up joining Tapu in his fun!

Most episodes show Jethalal getting into some kind of trouble. His best friend, Taarak Mehta, often helps him out. Jethalal even calls Taarak his "Fire Brigade" because he's always there to help.
