Tahj's Club Career

Playing for Queensland Roar

Tahj Minniecon joined the Queensland Roar team in 2007. He came from the AIS, which helps young athletes. When he signed a two-year contract, he was very excited. He said he always wanted to start his career with his hometown club. His family and friends were in Brisbane, and he was eager to begin playing.

Time with Gold Coast United

On January 3, 2009, it was announced that Minniecon had signed with a new team, Gold Coast United. This was for their first season in the A-League. Tahj was almost traded to the Newcastle Jets for another player, Chris Payne. However, the trade did not happen. This was because Minniecon got a heel injury during a game with the youth league team against Sydney FC.

Playing for Rockdale City Suns

After leaving Western Sydney, Minniecon signed a short contract. He joined the NSW NPL1 club Rockdale City. This was a shorter period in his career.

Moving to Meralco Manila

On December 1, 2014, it was shared that Minniecon signed a one-year deal. He also had an option to extend it with a club in the Philippines. This team was Loyola Meralco Sparks. He hoped this move would help his soccer career get back on track.

On February 15, 2015, Minniecon played his first game for Loyola. He also scored his first goal for them. This happened in an away game against Manila Jeepney. His team won 3-2 in the 2015 United Football League.

The club later changed its name to FC Meralco Manila. This was when it joined the Philippines Football League in 2017. However, the club closed down in January 2018. This happened after they played in the first season of the league. This left Minniecon without a team at that time.
