Takashi Hirajima's Football Journey
Takashi Hirajima was born in Sakai, Japan, on February 3, 1982. He started his professional football career after finishing high school.
Early Career with Avispa Fukuoka
In 2000, Takashi joined J1 League club Avispa Fukuoka. He quickly became a regular player, often playing as a right-side defender in his first year. He played many matches for the team.
He continued with Avispa Fukuoka until the end of the 2001 season. The club faced challenges and was moved down to the J2 League in 2002. Takashi returned to play for Avispa Fukuoka in 2003. He became a regular player again in 2004, showing his skills as a right-side defender.
However, he played fewer matches in 2005. Even though the club was promoted back to J1 League in 2006, Takashi left Avispa Fukuoka at the end of that season.
Moving to New Teams
In 2007, Takashi moved to J2 League club Kyoto Sanga FC. He became a key player there. His team did very well and was promoted to the J1 League in 2008.
Later in 2008, he joined another J2 club, Cerezo Osaka. He continued to play many games as a right-side defender until 2009. Cerezo Osaka also had a successful season and was promoted to the J1 League at the end of 2009.
In 2010, Takashi moved to Tokushima Vortis, which was also in the J2 League. He was a regular player for them. However, his playing time became less in 2011.
Final Season and Retirement
In 2013, Takashi joined AC Nagano Parceiro, a club in the Japan Football League. His team won the championship that year. They were promoted to the new J3 League for 2014. However, Takashi decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2013 season.
Over his career, Takashi Hirajima played in 252 league matches and scored 7 goals.
