Taku Harada was born in Kumamoto, Japan, on October 27, 1982. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 2001.
Early Career with Nagoya Grampus Eight
Harada joined Nagoya Grampus Eight, a club in the top Japanese league called J1 League, in 2001. He played in a few matches each season during his time there. However, he did not get a lot of playing time in his first few years.
Moving to Oita Trinita
In 2004, Harada moved to another J1 League club, Oita Trinita. Here, he became a regular player, meaning he played in most of the team's matches. He performed well under manager Han Berger starting in May 2004. But in 2005, his chances to play became fewer.
Time with Kawasaki Frontale
In June 2005, Harada joined Kawasaki Frontale, another J1 League team. He often came into games as a substitute midfielder and played in many matches until 2006. However, in 2007, he did not play as much as before.
Years with Roasso Kumamoto
