The Talayarde North-East River is a river in Quebec, Canada. It flows into the Talayarde River. This river runs through parts of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier and Saint-Raymond. It is located in the Capitale-Nationale region.
The area around the river is mostly forest. Forest roads help people get around for logging and fun outdoor activities.
In winter, the river usually freezes from early December to late March. It's safest to walk on the ice from late December to early March. The amount of water in the river changes with the seasons. A big rush of water, called the spring flood, happens in March or April.

The Talayarde North-East River starts at Bienville Lake. This lake is about 2.0 kilometres (1.2 mi) long and sits high up at 599 metres (1,965 ft) above sea level. It is located in a wild area called Lac-Blanc.
From Bienville Lake, the river flows for about 13.9 kilometres (8.6 mi). It generally moves south through the forest. The river drops a lot in height, about 379 metres (1,243 ft) from start to finish.
Here's how the river flows:
- It goes south-west for 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) to meet a small stream.
- Then it flows south for 4.3 kilometres (2.7 mi) through a deep valley. It passes over many rapids and goes through Lake Dufresne. Lake Dufresne is about 0.4 kilometres (0.25 mi) long.
- Next, it turns east for 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi). It flows through another deep valley with more rapids. It also meets water from Lac Talayarde du Sud.
- Finally, it travels south for 6.2 kilometres (3.9 mi). It goes over two more sets of rapids and makes two turns to the east before reaching its end.
The Talayarde North-East River joins the Talayarde River on its north-east side. This meeting point is about 15.0 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of Saint-Raymond. It is also about 36.1 kilometres (22.4 mi) north-west of the St. Lawrence River.
After joining, the water flows 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) down the Talayarde River. Then it continues for 97.9 kilometres (60.8 mi) along the Sainte-Anne River. All this water eventually reaches the St. Lawrence River.
