Talisman is an exciting series of four adventure books for children, written by Allan Frewin Jones and released in 2005. The main characters are two friends, Olivia (Olly) Christie and Josh Welles. They live with Olly's dad and Josh's brother, who are both archaeologists. This means they study old things and dig up ancient sites to learn about the past!
The story is all about Olly and Josh's thrilling hunt for special, magical objects called the 'talismans of the moon'. Even though there are only four books in the series so far, there are actually more than four of these mysterious 'Talismans of the Moon' to find!
