Tambra Island (which is ostrov Tambra in Bulgarian) is a small island in Antarctica. It's mostly covered in ice and is part of the Pitt group within the larger Biscoe Islands.
This island is about 1.17 kilometers (just under a mile) long from its southwest to its northeast side. It's also about 700 meters (about half a mile) wide. Tambra Island is very close to another island called Jingle Island. There's only a small passage, about 60 meters wide, separating them. The island was named after Tambra Hill, which is located in Southern Bulgaria.
