Her Career Journey
Tamela D'Amico was one of 24 people chosen to be on a TV reality show called On the Lot. This show was produced by famous filmmakers Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett. Tamela got a lot of attention from the show's producers because of a short film she made called Volare. It starred actor Federico Castelluccio.
Tamela studied filmmaking at Florida State University. She also learned acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. She has produced and directed many online shows, including Sex Ed: The Series. She also created content for websites like Atom Films, Funny or Die, and Comedy Central.
Music and Acting Work
Tamela released her first jazz album, Got a Little Story, which was helped by actor Peter Krause and Jimmy Hoyson. A famous musician named Chris Walden helped arrange the music. She also helped produce an album called Big Band Jazz for Billy Vera and even sang a song with him on it.
As an actress, Tamela played Janet Smythe in the TV show Best Friends Whenever. She also appeared in the movie Walt Before Mickey and the Amazon series Englishman in L.A.. Besides acting and singing, she has also worked as a model for beauty and handbag brands.
