Federico Castelluccio (born April 29, 1964) is an actor from America who was born in Italy. He is most famous for playing the character Furio Giunta in the TV show The Sopranos on HBO.

Early life and art skills
Federico was born in Naples, Italy. When he was three years old, his family moved to Paterson, New Jersey, in the United States.
In 1982, Federico received a special scholarship to attend the School of Visual Arts in New York City. There, he studied painting and media arts and earned a degree. Before getting this scholarship, he even had the chance to create a painting for the famous actor George Burns.

Federico Castelluccio started his acting journey in 1986. He has been in several movies and TV shows.
Early film and TV roles
Some of his early movie roles include Made with Jon Favreau, Fire, and 18 Shades of Dust with Danny Aiello. On television, he appeared in NYPD Blue. His most well-known role was in the popular HBO series The Sopranos, where he played Furio Giunta, a character from Naples.
Later projects and awards
He also acted in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, a movie that was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006. This film won two awards: one for best directing and another for its great cast, which included actors like Robert Downey Jr., Chazz Palminteri, and Rosario Dawson.
Other movies he worked on include El Cantante, a true story film, and Aftermath, a crime thriller. He also appeared in a short film called The Obscure Brother, which he helped produce. In 2014, Federico acted in a short film called Eulogy. He and the other actors in the film won an award for Best Ensemble at the Queens World Film Festival.
Directing and special appearances
Federico Castelluccio has also worked as a director. In 2016, he directed a movie called The Brooklyn Banker. The next year, in 2017, he directed a TV pilot called Outcall.
He also had a special appearance on the TV show Celebrity Apprentice. Donald Trump asked him to judge a hat design contest. Federico chose La Toya Jackson's design, and she won $25,000 for her charity, the AIDS Project Los Angeles.

Federico Castelluccio has a great eye for art! In 2014, he found a painting from the 1600s by a famous Italian artist named Guercino. He found it in a gallery in Frankfurt. The painting was mistakenly thought to be from the 1700s, so Federico bought it at an auction for about $68,000.
After paying for its restoration, insurance, and shipping, his total cost was around $140,000. But guess what? Experts later said the painting was actually worth about $10 million! That's an incredible discovery!
