Tang Sulan (born in January 1965) is a famous writer from China. She writes many different kinds of books, like novels, stories, and poems. But she is most known for her amazing fairy tales and other books for children. She also teaches at Hunan Normal University as a professor.

About Tang Sulan's Life
Tang Sulan was born in a place called Ningxiang County in Hunan, China, in 1965. She went to Hunan Normal University and finished her studies in 1985. There, she focused on Chinese Literature. Later, in 1988, she continued her education at Zhejiang University and graduated in 1991.
Tang Sulan started sharing her stories and writings in 1986. In 1999, she became a member of the China Writers Association. This is a big group for writers in China. She also joined another group called the China Association for Promoting Democracy.
In 2008, she was chosen to be part of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. This group helps give advice to the government in China.
In July 2021, Tang Sulan was asked to be a special advisor for the Hunan Provincial People's Government. She will serve in this role until July 2026. On March 13, 2023, she was chosen to lead the Hunan Writers Association. This shows how important she is in the world of writing in Hunan.
