Tania Khalill is a famous Brazilian actress. Her full name is Tânia Calil Campos de Oliveira, and she was born on July 8, 1977. She is known for her many roles in TV shows, movies, and plays.

Early Life and Training

Tania Khalill grew up in São Paulo, Brazil. Her dad was a doctor, and her mom was a psychologist. Tania is the second of three sisters. Her stage name, Khalill, comes from her family name, Calil. Her family has roots in Lebanon and Syria.

She went to Mackenzie University and finished her psychology degree in 2000. But she decided to follow her passion for acting instead of working as a psychologist.

Tania loved ballet from a young age. She danced for 16 years, from age 6 to 22! She even danced professionally for five years in a dance company. To get even better, she lived in Cuba for five months. There, she studied at the Cuban National Ballet School, which is one of the best in the world. Tania also appeared in commercials, but she was never a runway model.

After her ballet career, Tania wanted to try acting. She studied drama for seven years at different schools. She took many courses to learn how to act for TV and theater. This helped her become the talented actress she is today.

Acting Career

Tania Khalill started her TV career in 2002. Her first role was in the TV show Sabor da Paixão. In 2004, she played Nalva Ferrari, a samba dancer, in the show Galera. She also appeared in the popular show Senhora do Destino.

Later, she acted in Cobras & Lagartos in 2006. In 2009, she played Duda in Caminho das Índias, a very popular TV series. She continued to act in many other TV shows, including Fina Estampa (2011), where she played a teacher named Letícia. In 2012, she was Ayla in Salve Jorge, and in 2013, she played Dália, a cabaret dancer, in Joia Rara.

Tania also performs on stage. She first acted in a play in 1995. She has been in many plays since then, including The Suitcase. She also worked on short films. In 2009, she appeared in a short film called Innocent. This film was shown at a film festival in Los Angeles, United States.

Tania also loves working on projects for kids. In 2010, she was part of a children's musical called Great Little. This musical was based on a CD released by her husband, Jair Oliveira. She also starred in Acampamento de Férias 2 - A Arvore da Vida, a film for children. In 2011, she acted in the science fiction movie Area Q. This film was made by Brazil and the United States together. She played a reporter named Valkyrie.

Personal Life

Tania Khalill married singer Jair Oliveira on December 10, 2005. Jair Oliveira was famous as "Jairzinho" when he was a child, as part of the music group Balão Mágico. Tania met him when he was singing in a bar in São Paulo.

Tania and Jair have two daughters. Their first daughter, Isabella, was born on July 10, 2007. Their second daughter, Laura, was born on March 5, 2011.
