Natasha Tameika Cobbs was born in Jesup, Georgia. Her parents were Bishop Fritz Cobbs and Pastor Bertha Cobbs. She grew up in a family that loved music and faith. From a young age, she started leading worship at her father's church, Jesup New Life Ministries.
Her Family Life
In 2017, Tasha Cobbs Leonard married Kenneth Leonard. He is a music producer. They had a private ceremony with close family and friends. In July 2021, they adopted a son named Asher. Tasha has shared that she faced challenges with her mood in the past. She has spoken about how she found strength and help.
Her Church Work
In 2006, Tasha moved to Atlanta. She became a founding member of the dReam Center Church of Atlanta. Bishop William Murphy led this church. Tasha became an Elder there. She was in charge of praise and worship and managed the Worship and Arts department. She continued this work until 2020. In 2018, she appeared in a movie called Sinners Wanted.
