Tavertet is a tiny town in Catalonia, Spain. It sits high up on cliffs, about 900 meters (nearly 3,000 feet) above sea level. This makes it a really special place with amazing views!
Tavertet is part of an area called Osona. It is also in a beautiful region known as Collsacabra, which is north of the Guilleries mountains.
Right below the cliffs of Tavertet, you can see the Pantà de Sau. This is a large reservoir. It was created in the 1960s by building a dam on the Ter River.
Today, Tavertet is a popular spot for tourists. Many people have holiday homes here. They come to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the stunning natural beauty.
