Long ago, Taylorville was connected to another town called Wallsend. Wallsend is on the other side of the Grey River. There used to be a special bridge just for people to walk across. It was a suspension bridge, which means it hung from strong cables. Sadly, this bridge was washed away by the river in the 1960s.
