You can find it at Nickelodeon Universe, which is inside the huge Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. This ride first opened on March 17, 2012. It was super special because it was the very first of its kind in the entire United States! A company called Ride Entertainment Group helped set up the ride. They handle all the operations for Gerstlauer rides in the Western Hemisphere.

What is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock?
This ride is a thrilling experience where you get to control your own adventure. It's designed to make you feel like you're part of the action.
How the Ride Works
The ride has 12 special cars, called gondolas. Each gondola holds one rider. Once you are safely seated, these gondolas are lifted high into the air. Then, the brakes are released. You get to control the "wings" on your gondola. This means you can decide if your ride is super wild or more relaxed!
The main arm of the ride is tilted. As it spins around, you will go up about 72 feet (22 meters) high. Then you will come back down with each spin. You'll reach speeds of up to 25 miles per hour (40 kilometers per hour)! It's a unique ride where you control how much you spin and flip.
Entering the Ride
Before you even get on the ride, you'll walk through a cool waiting area. This area is designed to look just like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' secret underground sewer headquarters. When it's your turn, you'll board a special car that has a turtle shell design on the back. It really makes you feel like you're part of the team!
The Theme of the Ride
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock ride was created to celebrate something big! It opened around the same time that Nickelodeon launched its new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" animated TV show in 2012. This means the ride's theme perfectly matches the popular cartoon series.
