Telica is a small town and a municipality in Nicaragua. It is located in the León department. You can find it just north of the city of León.
Telica is famous for being home to the Telica volcano. This volcano is one of Nicaragua's most active volcanoes. The municipality has a population of about 26,339 people.
Telica is also the birthplace of Tony Chévez. He was a professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball.
