Teresa Salgueiro's Musical Journey
Teresa Salgueiro joined the band Madredeus after other members heard her singing. They discovered her amazing voice at a bar in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. She became the lead singer and helped the band become very popular.

In November 2007, Teresa decided to leave Madredeus. She wanted to focus on her own music and projects. This allowed her to explore different styles and work with other musicians.

In 2007, Teresa performed a special concert of Neapolitan music. This concert took place at the famous Teatro di San Carlo with the Solis String Quartet. Neapolitan music comes from Naples, Italy, and is known for its beautiful melodies.
