Teresita "Ging" Quintos Deles is a Filipina who works for peace and women's rights. She is well-known for being the Philippine government's special adviser for peace. She held this important role twice: first from 2003 to 2005, and again from 2010 to 2016.

Early Life and Career
Teresita Deles started her career as a teacher. She then became a strong supporter of women's rights. She also worked hard to help people who were struggling with poverty.
In 2003, she made history by becoming the first woman to be named the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. This means she advised the President on how to achieve peace in the country.
Working for Peace
Deles served as the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process for several years. During her time, a very important agreement was signed in 2014. This was called the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB). It was a big step towards peace in the southern Philippines.
Community Involvement
Teresita Deles has also been very active in many groups that are not part of the government. These are called non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

- She was part of the Coalition for Peace.
- She helped the United Nations (UN) as part of their Standby Mediation Team.

In 2012, Teresita Deles received the N-Peace Award. This award recognized her as a great example and role model for peace.
