Terrico Reshard White (born March 7, 1990) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns in Australia. Terrico was chosen by the Detroit Pistons in the 2010 NBA draft. He was the 36th player picked overall.

Before joining the NBA, he played two years of college basketball at Ole Miss. There, he was named SEC Rookie of the Year in 2009. Since 2012, White has played basketball in many countries. These include Serbia, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Korea, Australia, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. He has won three championships in a row. First, he won in Korea with the Seoul SK Knights. Then, he won two more in Australia with the Perth Wildcats. He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the finals for both the Korean and Australian leagues.

High School Basketball Journey

Terrico White went to Craigmont High School in Memphis, Tennessee. During his junior year (2006–07), he was a star player. He scored about 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds per game. He also made three assists and three steals per game. He was recognized as All-Metro and First Team All-State. He was also a finalist for the Player of the Year award.

In November 2007, Terrico decided to play college basketball for Ole Miss. In his senior year (2007–08), he was named Tennessee's Class AAA Mr. Basketball. He averaged 27.1 points per game. He led his team in scoring, shooting accuracy, and steals. He also won MVP awards for his district and region.

College Basketball Career

Terrico White played college basketball for Ole Miss. In his two years there, he scored 955 points. He averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He was named SEC Rookie of the Year in his first year. This was after he took over as point guard due to an injury to another player. He scored 18.4 points per game in SEC play.

In the summer of 2009, he joined Team USA. He helped the team win a gold medal at the FIBA U19 World Championships in New Zealand. In his second year (2009–10), he averaged 15.1 points and 4.6 rebounds. He helped his team achieve a 24–11 record. They also won the SEC West title and reached the NIT Final Four.

In April 2010, Terrico decided to enter the NBA draft. He first kept his options open to return to college. However, he later chose to hire an agent and stay in the draft.

Professional Basketball Path

NBA and D-League Start (2010–2012)

The Detroit Pistons picked Terrico White in the 2010 NBA draft. He was the 36th player chosen. He played well in the 2010 NBA Summer League, averaging 9.6 points. He was known for his amazing vertical jump and dunking skills. However, he broke his right foot in the Pistons' first preseason game. This injury caused him to miss the entire 2010–11 season.

In December 2011, the Pistons released White. He then joined the New Orleans Hornets for preseason but was released due to back problems. He later played for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League. He played 18 games before a back injury ended his season. In July 2012, he played for the Los Angeles Clippers Summer League team.

Playing in Serbia (2012–2013)

For the 2012–13 season, White moved to Serbia. He played for Radnički Kragujevac. He had a great game on November 10, scoring 36 points. In the Adriatic League, he averaged 14.4 points per game. He also averaged 14.8 points in the Serbian Super League.

Time in Turkey and Israel (2013–2014)

After playing for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2013 NBA Summer League, White went to Turkey. He played for Royal Halı Gaziantep during the 2013–14 season. In February 2014, he left Turkey. He then moved to Israel to play for Hapoel Eilat for the rest of the season.

Playing in Russia (2014–2015)

After playing for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2014 NBA Summer League, White moved to Russia. He played for Enisey Krasnoyarsk during the 2014–15 season.

Return to D-League and Israel (2015–2016)

In October 2015, White spent time with the Phoenix Suns during their training camp. He then joined the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA Development League for the 2015–16 season. In March 2016, he went back to Israel. He finished the season playing for Ironi Nes Ziona.

Success in South Korea (2016–2018)

For the 2016–17 season, White moved to South Korea. He played for the Seoul SK Knights. He returned to the Knights for the 2017–18 season. In April 2018, he helped his team win the KBL championship. He was named the Finals MVP. He averaged 25 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in the championship series. He was the first foreign player in 15 years to win this award.

Championships in Australia and Bahrain (2018–2020)

On July 27, 2018, White signed with the Perth Wildcats for the 2018–19 NBL season. He promised his coach, Trevor Gleeson, he would help them win a championship. He dealt with knee and hamstring injuries but played through most of the season. He also had a wrist injury that required him to wear a cast during the finals. White played exceptionally well in the playoffs. He scored 19 and 24 points in the semifinal wins. In the four grand final games, he scored 19, 17, 31, and 20 points. He helped the Wildcats win the championship 3–1. He was also named the championship series MVP.

In April 2019, White played for the Bahraini club Manama Club. He played in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup Qualifiers. During the tournament, he achieved a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. He helped Manama reach the final, scoring 30 points in the semi-final. They lost the final game, but he still scored 21 points.

On July 3, 2019, White re-signed with the Wildcats for the 2019–20 NBL season. He had similar stats to the previous season, averaging 15 points per game. In March 2020, he won his second NBL championship in a row.

Playing in Puerto Rico (2020)

On October 14, 2020, White signed with Cariduros de Fajardo in Puerto Rico. In his first game, he made 10 three-pointers and scored 38 points. His team lost in the quarter-finals two months later.

Second Time in Korea (2021)

On January 9, 2021, White returned to the Korean Basketball League. He signed with Changwon LG Sakers as a replacement for an injured player. On February 4, 2021, he was traded to Seoul Samsung Thunders.

Second Time in Puerto Rico (2021)

In June 2021, White signed with Gigantes de Carolina. This was his second time playing in Puerto Rico. After seven games, he signed with Brujos de Guayama.

NBA G League Experience (2021–2022)

On December 28, 2021, White joined the Long Island Nets in the NBA G League. He was released two days later. He rejoined the Long Island Nets on January 21, 2022. However, he was released again on February 1 after playing in two games.

Back to Puerto Rico (2022)

On March 15, 2022, White returned to play for Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rico.

Playing in Taiwan (2022–2023)

In October 2022, White signed with Hsinchu JKO Lioneers in Taiwan. In 18 games, he averaged 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

Return to Bahrain (2023)

In March 2023, White joined Al-Najma in the Bahraini Premier League.

Short Stints in Dominican Republic and Mexico (2023)

In May 2023, White played four games in the Dominican Republic with Metros de Santiago. In October 2023, he played five games in Mexico with Correbasket UAT.

Return to Australia (2025–Present)

In September 2024, White signed with the Kalamunda Eastern Suns in Australia for the 2025 season. His former teammate, Bryce Cotton, helped him connect with the team. White is expected to form a strong backcourt duo with Marshall Nelson.
