Terrico Reshard White (born March 7, 1990) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns in Australia. Terrico was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was chosen by the Detroit Pistons in the 2010 NBA draft. This happened after he played two years of college basketball at Ole Miss. There, he was named the Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year in 2009.

Since 2012, White has played basketball in many countries. These include Serbia, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Korea, Australia, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. From 2018 to 2020, he won three championships in a row. First, he won in Korea with the Seoul SK Knights. Then, he won two more in Australia with the Perth Wildcats. He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the finals in both Korea (2018) and Australia (2019).

Early Basketball Years

High School Achievements

Terrico White went to Craigmont High School in Memphis, Tennessee. When he was a junior in 2006–07, he scored about 22 points per game. He also grabbed seven rebounds, made three assists, and had three steals per game. He was recognized as an All-Metro player and was on the First Team All-State. He was also a finalist for the Player of the Year award.

In November 2007, White decided to play college basketball for Ole Miss.

In his senior year (2007–08), White was named Tennessee's Tennessee Mr. Basketball. He averaged 27.1 points per game. He led his team in points, shooting accuracy, three-pointers, and steals. He also won MVP awards for his district's regular season and tournament.

College Basketball Career

White played college basketball for Ole Miss. In his two years there, he scored 955 points. He averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He was named the Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year in his first year. This was because he stepped up as a point guard when another player was injured. He scored 18.4 points per game in conference play.

In the summer of 2009, he joined Team USA. He helped the team win a gold medal at the 2009 FIBA Under-19 World Championship in New Zealand. In his second year (2009–10), he averaged 15.1 points and 4.6 rebounds. He helped his team achieve a 24–11 record and reach the NIT Final Four.

In April 2010, White decided to enter the NBA draft. He later hired an agent, which meant he would stay in the draft.

Professional Basketball Journey

NBA and D-League Start (2010–2012)

The Detroit Pistons picked White as the 36th player in the 2010 NBA draft. He played well in the 2010 NBA Summer League, averaging 9.6 points. He was known for his amazing dunking skills. However, he broke his right foot in his first preseason game. This injury made him miss the entire 2010–11 season.

In December 2011, the Pistons released White. He then tried out for the New Orleans Hornets but was released again due to back problems. He joined the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League (now called the G League). He played 18 games before a back injury ended his 2011–12 season. In July 2012, he played for the Los Angeles Clippers in the Summer League.

In April 2019, White played for a team in Bahrain called Manama Club. He had a "triple-double" (scoring, rebounding, and assisting in double digits) in one game. He helped Manama reach the final.
