What the Story is About
The story starts after a big event. Something called Wormwood was destroyed and sent far away. It ended up on the dark side of the moon!
As the city of London began to get back to normal, a magician named Malachi was keeping a special boy. This boy, named Tersias, was blind. But Tersias had an amazing gift: he was an oracle. This means he could predict the future. He even predicted a comet would arrive!
Soon, people started to learn about Tersias's special abilities. Many different characters wanted to use his powers for their own plans.
- Malachi, the magician, wanted Tersias's power for himself.
- Jonah, a young highwayman, and his partner, Tara, also had their own ideas.
- Solomon, a very strict person, was planning to use his strange experiments. These included flesh-eating locusts!
- Lord Malphas, a powerful figure with mysterious abilities, also sought Tersias.
Everyone wanted to control Tersias and his amazing gift.
