Chantal Sophia "Tessa" Dahl was born on April 11, 1957. She is a British author and a former actress. Tessa is the daughter of the famous British-Norwegian author Roald Dahl. Her mother was American actress Patricia Neal.

Tessa Dahl was born in Oxford, England. She was the second daughter of her parents. Her older sister, Olivia, sadly passed away in 1962 from measles.
Growing Up and Education
Tessa grew up in a place called Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire. She went to two different schools: Roedean and Downe House. After school, she studied cooking at the Elizabeth Russell Cookery School. She also learned acting at the Herbert Bergof Acting Studio.

Tessa Dahl has had many interesting jobs. She worked as an actress and also as a model. She gained experience working in an antique shop. She also worked at an employment agency.

In 2019, Ned's engagement to Princess Raiyah bint Hussein was announced. Princess Raiyah is the youngest daughter of King Hussein I of Jordan and Queen Noor. Ned and Princess Raiyah were married in 2020.
