About Tessah's Early Life
Tessah was born in Montpellier and has two younger brothers or sisters. Her father, Teddy Andrianjafitrimo, was born in Madagascar. Teddy was a very good amateur tennis player. He was a tennis champion in Madagascar and Africa. However, he could not become a professional player because he did not have enough money to support himself. He moved to France and worked as a club coach. He also coached his daughter, Tessah.
Tessah's Tennis Career
Junior Tennis Years
Tessah started playing tennis when she was five years old. In 2014, she became the national girls' champion of France. This was for players aged 15–16 years old. She reached her highest junior ranking of world No. 29 on September 14, 2015.
Starting Professional Play (2013–2014)
Tessah began her professional career on the ITF Women's Circuit in September 2013. Her first tournament was in Clermont-Ferrand, France. She played in seven ITF Circuit tournaments in 2013 and 2014.
Grand Slam Debuts (2015–2016)
In 2015, Tessah played in her first Grand Slam qualifying match at the French Open. She got a special entry called a wildcard. She won her first match but then lost in the next round.
She also made her main-draw debut on the WTA Tour at the Luxembourg Open. She received another wildcard but lost her first match. Later that year, she played in her first WTA 125 tournament, the Open de Limoges.
In 2016, Tessah played in the main draw of a Grand Slam for the first time. This was at the French Open. She lost her first match to Wang Qiang. She also played in the girls' singles event at the French Open.

In 2019, Tessah played in the qualifying rounds of the French Open. She had a very close match but lost after having two chances to win.

Tessah has lived in Nogaro, France, since 2010. She is in a relationship with French tennis player Ugo Humbert. When Tessah was injured, she sometimes helped coach Ugo in 2020 and 2024.
