Discovering Tesserete
Tesserete is a lovely place with a rich history. It's a great example of how communities can grow and change over time in Switzerland.
Tesserete's Journey: From Village to Part of Capriasca
Long ago, Tesserete was its own town, also known as a municipality. In 1976, another nearby town called Campestro joined with Tesserete. This made Tesserete a bit bigger!
Later, in 2001, Tesserete and several other villages decided to team up. These villages were Cagiallo, Lopagno, Roveredo, Sala Capriasca, and Vaglio. They all became one new, larger municipality called Capriasca. So, Tesserete is now a part of this bigger community, which helps them share resources and work together.
