A tetracontagon (say "tet-ra-KON-ta-gon") is a special type of shape. What makes it special? It has exactly 40 straight sides and 40 corners. Think of it like a super-many-sided stop sign!

What is a Regular Tetracontagon?

When we talk about a regular tetracontagon, it means all its 40 sides are exactly the same length. Also, all its 40 corners (or angles) are exactly the same size. Each corner in a regular tetracontagon measures 171 degrees. If you add up all these 40 corners, the total is 6840 degrees!
