Tetsuhiro Kina (喜名 哲裕, Kina Tetsuhiro, born December 10, 1976) is a Japanese football expert. He used to play football as a midfielder. Now, he works as a football manager. He is currently an assistant manager for the J2 League club RB Omiya Ardija.
Playing career
Tetsuhiro Kina was born in Naha, Japan, on December 10, 1976. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1995. He started playing in matches that same year.
From 1996, he played many games as a central midfielder. This is a player who helps both attack and defense in the middle of the field. However, he got an injury in 1998 and could not play any matches.
In 2000, Kina moved to FC Tokyo. This club had just been promoted to the top league, the J1 League. He continued to play as a central midfielder there. But in 2002, another player named Masashi Miyazawa joined the team. This meant Kina had fewer chances to play.
In 2004, he moved to Omiya Ardija, a club in the J2 League. He also played for two more J2 League teams: Avispa Fukuoka and Tokyo Verdy. He didn't have as much success with these teams.
In 2007, Kina joined Japan Football League club Rosso Kumamoto. This club later changed its name to Roasso Kumamoto. He played regularly for them. In 2008, his team was promoted to the J2 League.
In 2010, he moved to Regional League club Okinawa Kaiho Bank. Tetsuhiro Kina stopped playing football at the end of the 2011 season.
Managerial career
Tetsuhiro Kina started his career as a football manager. On October 20, 2021, he became the manager of FC Ryukyu. However, the team did not get good results. Because of this, he was removed from his position on June 6, 2022.
