Tetsushi Kondo (近藤 徹志, Kondō Tetsushi, born November 4, 1986) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Kondo spent most of his career playing for Japanese clubs.

Tetsushi Kondo's Football Journey

Tetsushi Kondo started his football journey in high school. He played for Higashi Fukuoka High School from 2002 to 2004. This is where he developed his skills as a defender.

Playing for Urawa Reds

Kondo joined Urawa Reds, a big club in Japan, in 2005. He was part of the team that won the Emperor's Cup in both 2005 and 2006. The Emperor's Cup is one of the most important football tournaments in Japan. In 2006, his team also won the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan. He was also part of the team that finished second in the J1 League in 2005.

Loan to Ehime FC

In 2007, Kondo was loaned to Ehime FC. This meant he played for Ehime FC for a season. During his time there, he played in 40 matches and scored 3 goals. This was a great chance for him to get more playing time and experience. After his loan, he returned to Urawa Reds.

Time with Fagiano Okayama

In 2010, Tetsushi Kondo moved to Fagiano Okayama. He spent many years with this club, playing in the J2 League. This is the second-highest football league in Japan. He played over 100 matches for Fagiano Okayama and scored 3 goals during his time there. He was an important part of their defense for several seasons.
