The Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame is a special place in Pecos, Texas, that celebrates the exciting sport of rodeo. It honors people who have made a big difference in the rodeo world. This includes those who have competed in the famous West of the Pecos rodeo.

History of the Rodeo Hall of Fame
The Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame officially started on December 21, 1999. It was founded by John T. Rediger, who also became its first president.
The Hall of Fame held its first ceremony to welcome new members in 2004. This event took place in a room at the West of the Pecos Museum. The Hall of Fame honors people from all different rodeo events. It also includes categories similar to those used by the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. In 2019, the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame opened its doors to the public. It is located in the old T&P Depot building.
Visiting the Hall of Fame Today
The Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame continues to honor people who have competed in the West of the Pecos rodeo. These individuals have gone on to become well-known in the rodeo world.
You can find the Hall of Fame in the Old T&P Train Depot. The address is 100 East Dot Stafford Street. It shares the building with the Pecos Chamber of Commerce. The Hall of Fame is open from Tuesday to Saturday, between 10 AM and 4 PM.
