Thames & Kosmos (often called T&K) is a company that creates and sells fun, educational products. They make science kits, board games, and craft kits for kids of all ages. Their science kits help you learn about cool subjects like biology, physics, astronomy, and even clean energy.

T&K focuses on teaching real-world skills and STEM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). They do this through hands-on experiments and helpful guides.

Thames & Kosmos is the North American branch of a German company called Franckh-Kosmos Verlags-GmbH & Co. KG, or just Kosmos. Kosmos was founded way back in 1822! T&K takes Kosmos's science kits, translates them, and sells them. Since 2005, T&K has also started to design its very own kits. They even make kits for other well-known brands, such as National Geographic and The Dangerous Book for Boys.

In 2012, T&K began selling its products in the UK. By 2015, a special UK company called Thames & Kosmos UK LP was created. In 2013, Kosmos invested a lot in Thames & Kosmos, making it the official parent company.

Thames & Kosmos has won many awards for its awesome products. These include awards from Parents' Choice Award, Dr. Toy, and Oppenheim Toy Portfolio. In 2006, their CHEM C3000 chemistry set was named "Best Overall Chemistry Set" by The Wall Street Journal. Also in 2006, their Candy Factory kit was called "One of Toy Fair’s Hottest New Products" by The Early Show.

T&K was started in 2001. Its main office is in Providence, Rhode Island, in the USA. In 2015, T&K also began selling Kosmos board games in the US and other English-speaking countries.
