The Abbott and Costello Cartoon Show was a fun American animated TV series. It featured the famous comedy duo in cartoon form. The show aired from September 1967 to June 1968.
Each episode was about half an hour long. It included four short five-minute cartoons. These cartoons were made by Hanna-Barbera, RKO General, and Jomar Productions. Today, Warner Bros. Television Distribution owns the rights to the show.
A cool fact about this cartoon was that Bud Abbott voiced his own character. Sadly, Lou Costello had passed away in 1959. So, Stan Irwin provided the voice for Lou Costello's character. Other voices were done by regular Hanna-Barbera actors. The famous Canadian cartoonist, Lynn Johnston, even helped color the animation cells!
