The Cat&Birdy Warneroonie PinkyBrainy Big Cartoonie Show facts for kids
The Cat&Birdy Warneroonie PinkyBrainy Big Cartoonie Show, often called The Big Cartoonie Show for short, was a TV show that brought together different cartoons. It aired on a channel called Kids' WB from January 16, 1999, until August 31, 2000. This show was a lot like other Saturday morning cartoons that featured classic Looney Tunes episodes, such as The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show which was still on ABC back then.

What Was the Show Like?
Early Episodes and Classic Cartoons
When The Big Cartoonie Show first started, each episode was 90 minutes long. The first four episodes mainly showed classic Looney Tunes cartoons. These old cartoons even got new title cards, which are like the opening screens for each short.
The show also included shorter cartoon segments from other popular shows. These included parts from Animaniacs, The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Pinky and the Brain, and Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain.
Changes After Pokémon Aired
After the first four episodes, Kids' WB started showing the popular cartoon Pokémon on February 13, 1999. Because of this, The Big Cartoonie Show became much shorter, only 30 minutes long.
After this change, the show stopped featuring Looney Tunes cartoons. Instead, it only showed segments from Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain. It's interesting to know that most episodes of Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain were actually shown on The Big Cartoonie Show. This was because Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain wasn't very popular and was quickly taken off the regular schedule in November 1998.
Second Season and New Hosts
Even though most of the show used older cartoons, it was popular enough to get a second season! For this new season, the show's full name changed to The Cat&Bunny Warneroonie SuperLooney Big Cartoonie Show.
In this second season, the show only featured episodes from Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs. The show also added two animated kids named Karen and Kirby, who acted as hosts for the segments. During this time, The Big Cartoonie Show also started airing on weekday afternoons, where Looney Tunes cartoons were also being shown.
The Show Ends
The Big Cartoonie Show finished airing at the end of the 1999–2000 TV season. Its very last episode was on August 31, 2000. After the show ended, cartoons like Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain, and Looney Tunes were no longer part of the Kids' WB lineup. This made room for new shows in the 2000-2001 schedule.
