Looney Tunes is a super famous animated cartoon series. It was made by Warner Bros.. This was Warner Bros.' very first cartoon series. It came before the Merrie Melodies series.

The name Looney Tunes sounds a bit like Silly Symphonies. That was a cartoon series by Walt Disney that also used a lot of music. From 1942 to 1969, Looney Tunes was the most popular cartoon in movie theaters. It was even more popular than Disney cartoons!

The first Looney Tunes cartoon was called Sinkin' in the Bathtub. It came out in 1930. Since then, Looney Tunes has become popular all over the world. You can still watch it on TV today.
