The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai! is a super fun show at Tokyo Disneyland. It's found in the exciting Adventureland area. This show uses amazing Audio-Animatronics to bring characters to life. These are special robots that move and talk!

This version of the show is the fourth one in the Tiki Room series. It's also the second show at Tokyo Disneyland to feature a character from a Walt Disney Animation Studios movie. In this case, it's Stitch from the Lilo & Stitch movies!

The Tiki Room's Story

The Tiki Room first opened in Tokyo Disneyland on April 15, 1983. This was the same day the park itself opened! At first, it was a Japanese version of the original Tiki Room show from Disneyland.

In 1999, the show changed. It became "The Enchanted Tiki Room: Now Playing Get The Fever!". This new version was like a Las Vegas nightclub. The four main host birds from the original show were replaced. New birds named Danno, Scats, Buddy, and Lava took their place. Lava was the first female host bird. The story was about the birds trying to wake up the sleeping Tiki Gods. Lava sang the song "Fever" to help them.

"Get the Fever" closed in January 2008. Then, on July 25, 2008, the current show opened. It's called "Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai!". This version added the popular character Stitch to the show.

What Happens in the Show?

The show starts with a Cast Member introducing four Birds of Paradise. Their names are Hanoli, Manu, Mahina, and Waha Nui. These birds welcome everyone to the Tiki Room. They begin to sing "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from the Lilo & Stitch movie.

But just as they finish the first part of the song, the lights go out! When they come back on, the birds see a mess. Someone has written messages and painted pictures all over the walls and windows!

Manu worries that one drawing looks like the Big Kahuna. The Big Kahuna is the leader of the Enchanted Tiki. Manu thinks if he's angry, they will be in trouble. Mahina points out that the messages also say "Aloha e komo mai". This is Hawaiian for "Hello, welcome." Hanoli finds it funny because that's also the name of their next song. He wonders how the vandal knew that. Mahina guesses the Tiki Gods know everything. She then sings "Aloha, E Komo Mai" from Lilo & Stitch: The Series.

After the song, Waha Nui thinks the Tiki Gods are upset because they are singing out of tune. Manu, who is a bit worried, tells Waha Nui to be careful with his words. He doesn't want to make the Big Kahuna angry. Waha Nui jokes, "Kahuna Matata," and starts the next song. It's part of the "Hawaiian War Chant" from the original Tiki Room show.

Suddenly, Stitch messes up the song! He sticks his arms out of the flower beds. He makes loud air horn noises. Waha Nui tries to stop him by shouting. But Stitch wins by making a huge foghorn blast at the end.

Manu decides to ask some cute birds he met at Waikiki about the Big Kahuna. These birds come down on a special Birdmobile. They are wearing plastic Stitch ears. Manu asks why they have them on. They tell him a blue creature put the ears on them. Manu says they were lucky. He warns them their bodies could have turned blue! Then, Stitch throws blue paint on the girls. This is done with a blue light effect. The girls run off, saying they won't come back until the blue creature leaves.

The lights go out again, and lightning flashes. Stitch appears from the fountain in the middle of the room. He's hard to see because of the low red lights. At first, he pretends to be the Big Kahuna. But soon, he shows who he really is. He says he did all those things because he wanted to be in the show. The Birds of Paradise scold him. They tell him he should have said so before the show began.

They agree to let Stitch perform in the show. But he must promise not to mess with it anymore. Stitch agrees. He asks the Birds of Paradise and the audience if they want to join his ʻohana. Ohana means family in Hawaiian. Stitch and the Birds of Paradise then finish the show. They sing "Aloha, E Komo Mai" again. Stitch shouts, "Everyone... ʻohana!" The show ends with him spitting water from the fountain.
