The Invisible Intruder is an exciting mystery book, the 46th story in the popular Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. It first came out in 1969. While the books are published under the name Carolyn Keene, the real writer for this one was Harriet Stratemeyer Adams.
The Mystery Unfolds
Nancy Drew, a super-smart detective, and her friends get a special invitation! They are asked to join a ghost-hunting tour. On this tour, they visit many places that people say are haunted.
Hunting for Ghosts and Clues
As they explore, Nancy and her friends look for clues. They soon discover that the spooky events might not be ghosts at all. Instead, there's a more ordinary explanation for everything happening.
A Case of Missing Shells
While solving the "ghost" mystery, Nancy uncovers something even bigger. She finds a group of thieves! This gang is secretly stealing very rare and valuable shells from collectors. Some of these shells, like the Conus gloriamaris, were once super hard to find.
A Friend Returns
In this adventure, Nancy's old friend Helen makes a special appearance. Helen was known as Helen Corning in earlier books. Now, she is married to Jim Archer and is called Helen Archer. It's fun to see her join Nancy on this new case!
