The Jungle Book is an amazing fantasy adventure movie from 2016. It was made in the United States by Walt Disney Pictures. The movie was directed by Jon Favreau and written by Justin Marks.
This movie is based on the classic stories by Rudyard Kipling called The Jungle Book. It also got ideas from Walt Disney's animated movie from 1967.
The main character, Mowgli, is played by Neel Sethi. Many famous actors lent their voices to the animal characters. These include Bill Murray, who voiced Baloo the bear, and Ben Kingsley, who voiced Bagheera the panther. Other voices you might recognize are Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Giancarlo Esposito as Akela, and Christopher Walken as King Louie. Garry Shandling also voiced a character.
