The Land Before Time XIII: The Wisdom of Friends is an animated movie released in 2007. It's the thirteenth film in the popular The Land Before Time series, which is all about dinosaurs. This movie went straight to video, meaning it wasn't shown in cinemas.
The Story of the Movie
The movie begins with Littlefoot having bad dreams. He dreams that his Grandma Longneck falls, like she almost did during an earthquake. Luckily, she saved herself that time. Grandma Longneck comforts Littlefoot and teaches him important life lessons. She calls these lessons "Wisdoms."
Later, Littlefoot and his best friends, Cera, Ducky, Spike, and Petrie, meet three new dinosaurs. They are yellow-bellied dinosaurs named Loofah, Doofah, and Foobie. These three friends are lost and trying to find their way to a place called Berry Valley. Loofah, Doofah, and Foobie seem a bit confused and can't find their way alone. So, Littlefoot and his friends decide to help them. As they travel, Littlefoot and his friends share their "Wisdoms" with the new yellow-bellied dinosaurs.
During their journey, a group of scary Sharpteeth starts chasing them. These are dangerous meat-eating dinosaurs. The Sharpteeth are led by one with a scar around its head. The group of friends and the yellow-bellies finally reach a Watering Hole. Here, they meet more yellow-bellied dinosaurs. Loofah had mentioned a "wise one" among the yellow-bellies, but Littlefoot can't find anyone who seems wise.
Littlefoot decides to lead all the yellow-bellies across a dangerous area called the Mysterious Beyond. Their goal is to reach Berry Valley. However, Littlefoot has never been to Berry Valley himself. He worries that he might make wrong choices, even though he's supposed to be teaching the yellow-bellies how to be wise. His friends tell him not to worry. They remind him to trust his feelings and listen to his inner wisdom.
A big storm hits while they are traveling. Littlefoot leads everyone to a high, safe place for shelter. But Doofah gets separated from the group and goes the wrong way. After the storm ends, Littlefoot and his friends find Doofah, and she safely rejoins the group. The Sharpteeth attack them again! But this time, the yellow-bellies work together. They bounce up and down, which helps to scare off the Sharpteeth.
After defeating the Sharpteeth, they finally arrive at Berry Valley. It turns out that Foobie, one of the yellow-bellies, was the "Wise One" all along! Littlefoot and his friends then meet up with their own families. After their adventure, they all return safely to the Great Valley.
